The DSHS license never transfers with a sale. Whatever is bought — house, business, or lease — the new operator qualifies for a license of their own through the Change of Ownership process. That is why each listing here carries a licensing-status label: an operating home with residents, a formerly licensed home, and a house that has merely passed the WABO checklist are three different purchases.
